Estrogen-related receptors (ERRs) are a group of nuclear receptors that function as transcription factors and play important roles in the regulation of various physiological processes, including metabolism, development, and differentiation. There are three types of ERRs: ERR-alpha, ERR-beta, and ERR-gamma, encoded by the ESRRA, ESRRB, and ESRRG genes, respectively.
