Move

This requires a two-person operation in which the blood collector holds the head and neck of the rat (mouse) tightly in his left hand and grasps the torso and hind limbs with his right hand to expose the neck. The assistant cuts the neck with scissors (with great force), and the blood collector should quickly turn the rat upside down to allow the blood to drip into the container. This method is used when the blood collection is large at the end of the experiment
