2. Visualization by the naked eye:
The specimen is round, the irregular lumen in the center is the lumen of the intestine and the surrounding tissue is the intestinal wall.
The outer layer stained red is smooth muscle.
3. low magnification observation:
Smooth muscle tissue stains redder than the adjacent connective tissue. Smooth muscle tissue is thicker and
It can be divided into two layers and arranged in different directions, the inner layer is in longitudinal section, and the smooth muscle fibers are in the shape of a long shuttle, and the outer layer is in transverse section, which is thinner, and the smooth muscle fibers are in the shape of dots of different sizes.
4. High magnification observation:
① longitudinal section: smooth muscle was shuttle-shaped, adjacent muscle fibers were interlaced with each other and embedded in each other, myoplasmic staining red was homogeneous; the nucleus was located in the center of the cell, rod-shaped, due to the cell contraction to make the nucleus deformed and spiraled or the edge of the jagged, the chromatin was less, so the nucleus staining was stronger.
② Transverse section: smooth muscle fibers showed a mosaic image of circles of varying sizes, with round nuclei in the center of larger sections of muscle fibers, and no nuclei were seen in smaller sections.
