Overview

Sodium 2,6-dichloroindophenolate, also known as Tillman's reagent, is a analytical dye used for the determination of Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), which when in presence reduces to a colorless hydroxy compound. Also may be used as an electron receptor and to stain glutathione reductase electrophoresis gels. Classified as a redox indicator.
