Overview

Tr-PEG4 is a PEG derivative containing a trityl, alcohol protecting group and a terminal hydroxyl group. Trityl can be removed under acidic conditions. The hydroxyl group can undergo various reactions in order to further derivatize the compound. The hydrophilic PEG linkers increase the solubility of compounds in aqueous media.
