Tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Inhibits glucocorticoid induced COX-2 activity (IC 50 = 15 μM). Blocks lipopolysaccharide (LPS) induced TNFα synthesis and tyrosine phosphorylation of ERK2. Cell-permeable. Shows anti-inflammtory activity. Active in vivo .
