Product Description:
Methacrylylated sodium alginate (AlgMA) imparts light curing ability by introducing methacrylic groups on the molecular chain of sodium alginate. Compared with traditional divalent ion (calcium ion, etc.) cross-linking, the light-curing cross-linking method is more portable, and the internal uniformity of the gel is good. AlgMA-based material systems have been widely used in many biomedical research fields, including: tumor model construction, cell loading, wound dressings, controlled drug release, dental impressions, etc. In addition, both -OH and -COOH in the structural unit of sodium alginate can be used as chemically active sites, and more active groups can be introduced through chemical modification to give it new properties (cell adhesion, active drug loading, etc.) , Has expanded its application of tissue engineering.
Our AlgMA products have passed strict raw material screening and quality testing, and have stable physical and chemical properties. They solidify into glue within 20 seconds under visible light irradiation. They have good biocompatibility, strong material scalability, and can provide a variety of viscoelastic properties. To adapt to different application areas. AlgMA can be used with GelMA and HAMA hydrogels to better simulate the microenvironment of skin, cartilage and other internal tissues, and obtain better cell 3D culture and bio-ink solutions.
Instructions:
1. Methacrylated Alginate (ALMA) is a photocurable biomaterial;
2. ALMA can be cured with a light initiator under blue or UV light;
3. The stiffness of ALMA hydrogel is related to the concentration. The higher the concentration is, the harder the stiffness is after curing;
4. ALMA has good biocompatibility, it can be mixed with cells for 3D bioprinting.
Quality Control:
Each batch of ALMA was tested by 1H NMR, HPLC and cytology to confirm its chemical structure, degree of methacrylation 20~30%, and non-cytotoxity; when mixed with LAP, it can be rapidly cured under the blue light
Recommended procedure:
1. Weight ALMA for printing; sterilize it with acetone;
2. Dissolve ALMA in medium overnight to create the 2%-3% solution;
3. Mix the ALMA with LAP and cells, load it in the cartridge of the blue-light 3D bio-printer;
4. Start 3D printing and blue-light solidification.
