概要
アセチルチオPEGアミンは、チオール酢酸PEGアミンとも呼ばれ、保護されたチオール基を持つアミノPEGである。アセチルで保護されたチオール基は中性では安定であり、酸性またはアルカリ性条件下でチオール基からアセチル基を脱保護することができる。遊離のチオール基はアセチルチオの脱保護により遊離する。チオール基が保護されたことで、残った官能基、例えばアミン、アジド、ヒドラジド、NHS、マレイミド、DBCOなどは、他の基との反応に使用できる。PEG化チオ酢酸誘導体は水溶性であり、水性緩衝液中で直接使用することができる。
