概要

ジベンゾシコルチン（DBCO）PEG NHS誘導体は、金属触媒を必要とせずにクリックケミストリー反応を行うことができる。シクロオクチンとアジドの歪み促進1,3-双極性付加環化反応は、銅フリーのクリック反応とも呼ばれ、水溶液中で2分子の共役を可能にする生物学的に直感的な反応である。DBCO PEG誘導体は、速い速度論と水性緩衝液中での安定性を持っている。DBCO試薬は、有害な銅触媒を必要とせず、アジド修飾生体分子を自発的に標識するために使用できる。PEG化は、ペプチドやタンパク質の溶解性と安定性を高め、免疫原性を低下させることができる。また、修飾表面への荷電分子の非特異的結合を抑制することもできる。
