Overview
This kit provides a quantitative, rapid, simple, and sensitive method for the determination of mannose content. Mannose is converted to glucose by specific enzymes; glucose subsequently reacts with an enzyme complex including hexokinase, leading to an increase in NADPH. The mannose content is then calculated by measuring the increase in NADPH at 340 nm.
