概要

Palmitic acid PEG amine is one of Nanocs bifunctional reactive lipid PEG derivatives. Palmitic acid is a 16 carbon saturated fatty acid lipid with excellent hydrophobicity. PEG modified palmitic acid is an excellent amphilphilic polymer with both hydrophilicity and hydrophobility. Primary amine groups on this 16 carbon lipid PEG can be used to react with many amine reactive groups. Pegylated lipids are excellent liposome formation materials that can be used for drug delivery, gene transfection and vaccine delivery as well. These materials can also be used for targeted drug delivery by modifying their surfaces with targeting ligands such as antibodies, peptides.
