Overview
William's E medium was developed by William and Gunn, primarily for the long‑term culture of rat liver epithelial cells. It can also be used for hepatocyte culture from other mammalian species.
This product contains multiple components required for cell culture, including amino acids, vitamins, inorganic salts, etc.; however, it contains no proteins, lipids, or any growth factors. Therefore, this product must be used with serum or serum‑free supplements.
