This product is used for the enrichment culture of yeasts.

Test Principle

Peptone serves as carbon and nitrogen sources; yeast extract provides B vitamins to boost microbial growth; glucose acts as an energy source.

Storage Conditions

Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. Shelf life: 3 years.

Instructions for Use

Weigh 50.0 g of this product, add to 1000 mL of distilled water, heat and stir until fully dissolved. Dispense the solution into containers, then perform autoclaving at 121 °C for 15 minutes before use.

Precautions

1. Ensure all utensils are thoroughly cleaned before preparation.

2. Wear a lab coat and disposable gloves during operation for personal safety and health protection.
