Panoramica
ABTS [2,2′-Azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid)] is a chromogenic substrate for peroxidase and an electron mediator for laccase. This product consists of ABTS solution, buffer, and an oxidizing agent. Upon reaction, a green-colored product is generated, and the absorbance is read at 405 nm. It is widely used in ELISA (HRP-based systems), laccase activity assays, and free chlorine determination. The reaction can be terminated with 1% SDS. For research use only.
