Panoramica
Amine-PEG-Valeric Acid, MW 5K is a PEG derivative which contains a free amine and a terminal carboxylic acid. The free amine can react with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters and other carbonyl groups. The carboxylic acid can react with primary amines in the presence of activators such as EDC and DCC can form stable amide bonds. The hydrophilic PEG linker increases the water solubility of the compound.
