BDP TR carboxylic acid is a BDP TR derivative with a carboxylic acid. The BDP TR dye is popular for the microscopy and fluorescence polarization assays. The terminal carboxylic acid can be reacted with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC, or DCC) to form a stable amide bond.
