Panoramica
BT57 is an all-in-one reagent for rapid denaturation, reduction and alkylation.
In biopharmaceutical and proteomics research, native proteins with three-dimensional structures undergo denaturation, reduction, alkylation, desalting, and subsequent enzymatic digestion.
Traditional denaturants such as urea and guanidine hydrochloride can cause chemical modifications to proteins, such as carbamylation. In addition, conventional alkylating reagents require protection from light.
BT57 all-in-one reagent enables one-step addition and rapidly completes protein denaturation, reduction and alkylation.
It is suitable for biopharmaceutical and simple protein sample research.
Physical Form:
Lyophilized powder containing 0.8mg BT Surfactant, TCEP, ABC and CAA.
Reconstitution:
Reconstitute with 205 μL of ultrapure water.
pH Range:
pH 7–9 for protein denaturation.
The reagent degrades and precipitates in solution at pH 2–4.
Usage:
Add 10 μL of BT57 reagent to 10 μL (50–100 μg) protein sample, mix well. Incubate in a dry bath at 60 °C for 20 min, or at 95 °C for 10 min.
