Panoramica

DNase/RNase Mix is a ready-to-use nucleic acid removal reagent composed of DNase I (1 mg/mL), RNase A (0.5 mg/mL), Tris-HCl, and preservatives. DNase I is a recombinant non-specific endonuclease that degrades both single-stranded and double-stranded DNA; its activity is modulated by Mg²⁺, Mn²⁺, and Ca²⁺ — in the presence of Mg²⁺, it introduces random nicks on double-stranded DNA, whereas in the presence of Mn²⁺, it causes DNA fragmentation. RNase A specifically hydrolyzes RNA. The combined action of these two enzymes efficiently eliminates DNA and RNA contamination from samples or reaction systems, making this product suitable for RNA extraction, in vitro transcription, RT-PCR, and other experiments requiring high nucleic acid purity. The product should be stored at –20°C and protected from repeated freeze-thaw cycles. For research use only; not intended for clinical diagnosis.
