Electrophoresis Sample Buffer, is a ready-to-use reducing electrophoresis sample buffer solution with bromophenol blue for the preparation of protein samples to be separated in SDS-PAGE. Bromophenol Blue is included with Electrophoresis Sample Bufferas a tracking dye to monitor the sample during the electrophoretic run. Electrophoresis Sample Buffer,  contains DTT (sc-29089), which disrupts disulfide bonds to ensure proteins are fully denatured before loading on the gel. Electrophoresis Sample Buffer also contains glycerol, TCEP, DTT, SDS, 1.0M Tris-HCl pH 6.7 and bromophenol blue. For non-reducing SDS-PAGE, Electrophoresis Sample Buffer (non-reducing) (sc-45085) is recommended.
Mix sample with an equal volume of Electrophoresis Sample Buffer, .Bring to 95° C for 10 minutes, cool to room temperature before loading. If particulate is present, centrifuge samples 5 minutes at 14k RPM in microcentrifuge, and load the gel.
Electrophoresis Sample Buffer is a ready-to-use reducing sample buffer for SDS-PAGE, acting on denatured proteins in the system.

Electrophoresis Sample Buffer, 2X (non-reducing) is a ready-to-use non-reducing electrophoresis sample buffer solution with bromophenol blue for the preparation of protein samples to be separated in non-reducing gels. Non-reducing SDS-PAGE (no boiling and no reducing agent) is used when the properties of native proteins are being analyzed.|Contains glycerol, 0.217 M Tris-HCl pH 6.8 and bromophenol blue.|For reducing SDS-PAGE, Electrophoresis Sample Buffer 2X (sc-24945) is recommended.
