Overview
This product is a buffer solution for eluting electron microscopy fixatives, used to rinse specimens after fixation and remove residual free aldehyde groups. Following fixation with aldehyde-based fixatives, specimens typically retain free aldehyde groups, which are highly reactive and can bind to amino groups on antibodies, leading to difficult-to-eliminate nonspecific staining. Therefore, specimens must be thoroughly rinsed after fixation.
Composed of PBS, glycine, and other components.
