Panoramica
This product is mainly composed of formalin, glacial acetic acid and absolute ethanol, among others. It has a slight pungent odor and serves as an excellent insect‑preserving solution. It is commonly used to kill and preserve small, soft‑bodied species such as mites, centipedes and millipedes. A small amount of glycerol is added in the solution to prevent insect specimens from becoming brittle.
