Potato Peptone, it forms a highly clear and stable solution after dissolution. This peptone is suitable for preparing industrial fermentation growth media, cell culture supplements, and animal-component-free diagnostic media. It is produced from fresh potatoes through crushing, pulping and soaking, extraction, enzymatic hydrolysis and fine filtration, followed by low-temperature spray drying. It is completely soluble and serves as an excellent nitrogen source for microbial fermentation, providing abundant nutrients for microorganisms, especially yeasts among fungi and edible mushrooms. It is mainly used as a raw material for fungal culture media and is commonly employed in the laboratory for the preparation of PDA medium.
Directions for Use:
As a culture medium raw material, fully dissolve it and use after sterilization.
