Saturated lithium chloride-ethanol solution is a common laboratory reagent prepared by dissolving lithium chloride in absolute ethanol. Store tightly sealed at room temperature.

• Analytical chemistry: Serves as filling solution for reference electrodes (e.g. calomel electrode) in non-aqueous titration.

Notes
Since this solution is nearly saturated, white lithium chloride crystals may precipitate at the bottom of the bottle, which is a normal phenomenon and does not impair performance.
