Panoramica
The Human Lys-Plasminogen was prepared from homogeneous glu-plasminogen by batching with a plasminsepharose column. This resin was removed after activation. This activation results in the release of a 76 amino acid residue peptide (Glu-Lys76). This Lys77-Plasminogen can be readily converted to Lys77-Plasmin by any of the common plasminogen activators. Complete activation was observed by SDS-PAGE. No plasmin activity was detected using the chromogenic assay S-2251.
Extinction Coefficient (1%) = 17.0
The above protein was purified from Human plasma units that test negative for antibodies to HBc, HCV, HIV 1/2, HTLV-I/II, and non reactive for HBsAg, HIV-1 RNA, HCV RNA, HBV DNA and Syphilis by FDA approved tests. Donors are screened for CJD.

Domande frequenti
What does Native mean?
Native indicates that the material has been processed and tested for specialty industrial processing. Specifications focus on the impurities that affect performance in that application — for example, metal content for electronics, particle size for batteries, refractive index for optics, or moisture content for moisture-sensitive processes.
What does BioReagent mean?
BioReagent indicates that the product has been processed and tested for biological and biochemical applications. Specifications may include endotoxin limits, microbial controls, sterility, low DNase/RNase/protease activity, and verified biological activity where relevant.
How should this product be stored?
Store at 2–8 °C. Refrigerated storage is required to maintain the specified shelf life.
How is this product shipped?
This product ships chilled on wet ice. Unpack on arrival and transfer it to the storage condition stated above.
What are the CAS number, molecular formula and molecular weight?
The CAS Number is 9001-91-6.
What documentation is provided?
Available product documentation, including Certificates of Analysis (COA), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and specification sheets, is shown in the product document area. Document availability and access follow the current site policy.
