Casein Peptone (known as Tryptone overseas) is a slightly yellow dry powder refined from high-quality casein via tryptic hydrolysis. It is used for sterility testing. As a medium component, casein peptone is also applied in fermentation processes for the production of antibiotics, extracellular proteins, interferons, diphtheria toxoid and other products.
Directions for Use:
Used for microbial fermentation. Dissolve completely and sterilize before use.
