Phosphoric acid functionalized polyethylene glycol, PEG-phosphate is a surface reactive PEG derivative that can be used to modify metal oxide surface such as titanium dioxide, aluminum oxide, and iron oxide. Phosphoric acid group has high binding affinity toward metal oxide surface. Phosphate PEGcan form self-assembly monolayer (SAM) on these surfaces. On the other hand, PEG chain can prevent non-specific absorption of proteins to the modified surface, an important requirement for implantable devices. Besides those monofunctional PEG phosphoric acid products, Nanocs also proivdes multifuncitonal phosphate PEG products with other functional groups or bioligands, such as biotin PEG phosphate, fluorescent PEG phosphate.
