Panoramica

Phosphatidate phosphatase, also known as phosphohydrolase phosphatase (EC 3.1.3.17, PPase), is a type of phosphatase that plays an important role in lipid synthesis and signaling. Its activity is of great significance for increasing oil content and can serve as a biochemical indicator for breeding high-oil varieties. This kit utilizes phosphatidate phosphatase (PPase) to catalyze the hydrolysis of β-glycerophosphate, releasing inorganic phosphorus. The activity of phosphatidate phosphatase (PPase) is determined by measuring the rate of increase in inorganic phosphorus using a phosphorus determination reagent.
