Panoramica

SBF (Simulated Body Fluid) is a metastable solution, specifically a supersaturated solution of apatite containing calcium ions and phosphate ions. It is widely used in vitro for the evaluation of bioactive materials, as it can form bone-like apatite.

The ion concentrations of the modified SBF simulated body fluid are now compared with those of the traditional SBF simulated body fluid and human serum, as shown in the table below.

The modified SBF simulated body fluid can better simulate human body fluid in vitro.
