This medium is specially used for the pre‑culture, infection and co‑cultivation stages of transgenic plant tissue‑culture. Unlike the traditional MS medium, it is modified from MS basal medium with optimized osmotic pressure and other conditions, so as to reduce vitrification and browning of explants. Meanwhile, it alleviates the physiological stress induced by Agrobacterium infection, greatly improves the subsequent differentiation efficiency and shortens the transformation cycle.

Instructions for Use
1. Add 4 mL of Solution A, 2 mL of Solution B, 2 mL of Solution C, 6 g of sugar, and approximately 1.6‑1.7 g of agar into a beaker (the agar addition amount shall follow the manual of your purchased‑agar product; agar can also be added after pH adjustment). Make up the final volume to 200 mL to prepare the solid medium for infection. Without agar, the mixture serves as infection solution. The volumes of medium and infection solution can be scaled up or down proportionally.
2. Add approximately 70 μL of 0.5 M NaOH to adjust the pH to 5.8 after mixing. Note: The required dosage of NaOH may vary with water quality and can be adjusted accordingly.
3. Sterilize at 120 °C for 20 min.
4. When the medium cools down to 45‑50 °C, add 200 μL of GBR5 and hormones specific to the experimental species. The addition of AS is optional for medium preparation (AS must be added into infection solution at a dosage of 200 μL per 200 mL).
Note: This product contains no sucrose or agar. If these components are required for your experiment, please prepare them separately or purchase them from our company. Hormones required for the experiment (species‑dependent) also need to be prepared separately or purchased from our company.
Precautions
1. Use the reagent promptly once opened to avoid adverse impacts on subsequent experiments.
2. Wear a lab coat and disposable gloves during operation for your safety and health.
