Overview

Protease inhibitors are a class of substances that bind to groups at the active center of protease molecules, reducing or even eliminating protease activity without causing protein denaturation.Common types include EDTA, E-64, NaVO₃, Bestatin, Leupetin, Pepstatin A, Aprotinin, etc. All of them can effectively inhibit protein degradation and maintain the original interactions between proteins.
Trypsin inhibitor solution (5 mg/mL) is mainly composed of the trypsin inhibitor aprotinin and does not contain EDTA. It is suitable for protein extraction from mammalian tissues and cells, allowing efficient acquisition of target proteins. The extracted proteins can be used in subsequent experiments such as Western Blot and co-immunoprecipitation.
Operating Procedures (For Reference Only)
1. Centrifuge at low speed before opening the cap to settle the liquid adhering to the tube wall to the bottom of the tube.
2. Add Trypsin Inhibitor Solution (5 mg/mL) according to the volume of lysis buffer, with the working concentration controlled at 1–10 μg/mL, and the commonly used concentration being 3–5 μg/mL.
Precautions
1. Trypsin Inhibitor Solution (5 mg/mL) is slightly irritating. Handle with caution and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
2. For your safety and health, please wear a lab coat and disposable gloves during operation.
3. This product is for research use only and strictly prohibited for other purposes.
