dITP, 2'-deoxy-inosine-5'-triphosphate, can be used in PCR, real-time PCR, RT-PCR, cDNA synthesis, as well as primer extension and SNP genotyping with Taq DNA polymerase. It is generally not used in PCR with proofreading DNA polymerase.dITP cannot replace dGTP completely in PCR mix. Otherwise, DNA amplification will be inhibited significantly. It is recommended to replace10% dGTP by dITP in PCR mix. For example, dNTP/dITP Mixture (2.5mM each + 0.25mM dITP) can be used in PCR with high fidelity DNA polymerase .The molecular formula of dITP is C10H12N4O13P3Na3 with a molecular weight of 558.11 (492.1 in acid form). This dITP solution is prepared with ultrapure water to a concentration of 100mM. The pH is titrated to 7.0-7.5 with high-purity NaOH solution. This product is free of DNase, RNase, phosphatase and protease, and can be directly used for different molecular biology applications.
