Vacuum filter bottle sterilization and filtration experiment

Materials and Instruments
Medium to be sterilized Vacuum pump or vacuum tube Connection tube Move 1. Connect the side arm of the filter bottle to the vacuum pump. For more product details, please visit Aladdin Scientific website.

2. Open the lid of the bottle to the top container of the filter. '
3. Pour the medium to be sterilized into the top container.
4. Turn on the pump.
5. Open the lid of the container below and prepare for use.
6. When all the liquid has flowed into the container below, turn the pump off and remove the filter and top container.
7. Remove the 10 ml sample from the lower container and place it in a common container or test tube.
8. Fill the upper space of the lower container and the normal container with 5 % CO2 gas.
9. Close the bottom container and the regular container with the lids.
10. Write the name of the medium, the date, and your name on the bottom container and the regular container.
11. Store the bottom container at 4°C for later use.
12. Incubate 10 ml of the sample in the plain container at 37°C for one week to check for contamination and do not remove the medium from the container for use until you are sure there is no contamination.
