Trimethoxymethylsilane (MTM) is an organosilicon compound that is widely used as a precursor for the preparation of silicon-based materials and is applied in a variety of fields, especially in molecular assembly, nano-synthetic building block connection and selective synthesis of oligosiloxane compounds.
