The mechanism of apoptosis in relation to tumorigenesis is currently thought to have the following possibilities.1. Insufficiency of the body's immune response to induce apoptosis in tumor cells.3. Inhibition of apoptosis by host factors such as cell adhesion molecules, and tumor growth factors.4.
