Nucleosides are precursors for the biosynthesis of biological macromolecules including ribonucleic acid (RNA) and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). The intracellular stock of nucleosides is limited. During continuous cell division and DNA replication, endogenous nucleosides may become insufficient to support normal DNA synthesis. Therefore, supplementation with nucleosides in culture medium is highly necessary. Nucleosides (100×) consists of five types of nucleosides: Cytidine, Guanosine, Uridine, Adenosine and Thymidine. As a common supplement for cell culture, it optimizes the formula of culture medium and effectively promotes cell proliferation and metabolism.
Product Composition:
| Main Component | Content (mg/L) |
| Cytidine | 730 |
| Guanosine | 850 |
| Uridine | 730 |
| Adenosine | 800 |
| Thymidine | 240 |
Instructions for Use:
The recommended dilution ratio is 1:100. For example, add 5 mL of this product into 500 mL culture medium. The dilution ratio can be adjusted according to specific experimental requirements.
Precautions:
1. This product is supplied in sterile packaging. Perform strict aseptic manipulation during use to prevent microbial contamination.
2. It is recommended to aliquot the product into small portions and store frozen. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Solid precipitation may occur after thawing at low temperature; dissolve the precipitate by water bath heating and gentle shaking.
3. Wear a lab coat and disposable gloves during operation for personal safety.
