| Product Description | Ringer's Solution (Mammal-specific), also known as Ringer’s Solution or Compound Sodium Chloride Solution, is a type of Balanced Salt Solution (BSS). BSS matches the environmental conditions such as pH value and osmotic pressure required for cell growth. It functions to maintain osmotic pressure, regulate acid-base balance, and supply essential inorganic salt components for cell survival and metabolism, thus meeting the basic needs of cell survival and sustained metabolism in in vitro experiments. Ringer's Solution consists of 0.86% sodium chloride, plus trace amounts of potassium chloride and calcium chloride, and contains no glucose. It is applicable to in vitro experiments on mammalian (or human) cells, tissue perfusion, tissue washing, and maintenance of the normal physiological functions of isolated tissues. This reagent is for research purposes only and not intended for clinical diagnosis or any other applications. Operating Procedures (For Reference Only) Preserve or wash the isolated tissues in accordance with the specific requirements of the experiment. Precautions 1. Ringer's Solution contains calcium ions and is prone to precipitation. If a small amount of precipitate forms, the solution can be heated to dissolve the precipitate or filtered before use. Discard the solution if a large amount of precipitate appears. 2. Please use the reagent as soon as possible after opening to avoid affecting subsequent experimental results. 3. For your safety and health, wear a lab coat and disposable gloves during operation. |
