Descripción general

B-Phycoerythrin (B-PE) and the closely related R-Phycoerythrin (R-PE) are the most intensely fluorescent phycobiliproteins. B-PE, considered the world's brightest fluorophore, exhibits significantly bright and photostable orange fluorescence.

B-PE is compatible with commonly available lasers (520 nm) and provides efficient, accurate, less background interference results in Flow Cytometry (FC) and Immunofluorescence microscopy (IF).

Aladdin's B-PE absorbance peaks are at 545 and 563 nm, and its significant stokes shifts with a resolvable emission peak at 578 nm.
