Isolator airtightness testing technology

Summary

Isolator airtightness testing technology, is a method to detect whether the isolator meets the requirements of airtightness, and is an important testing index to ensure the sterility of the isolation room. Before and after the assembly of the isolator and the use of the process should be checked to determine whether there is no air leakage phenomenon. Currently used for isolator airtightness detection technology is mainly 1 method: isolator airtightness detection method.

The basic process of the isolator air tightness testing method can be divided into the following steps:


A. Fill the isolation chamber with air, seal all inlets and outlets, and leave it for about one week;


B. Judge whether the requirement of airtightness is met by the degree of expansion of the isolator.

Caveat

1. the cleanliness of the air in the inner chamber of the isolator where sterile animals are kept shall be cleanliness class 5. 2. the minimum static pressure inside and outside the isolator shall be ≥ 50 Pa;2. the minimum static pressure inside and outside the isolator should be ≥50 Pa. 3. the sedimentation bacteria should not be detected;3. Sedimentation bacteria should not be detected.
