PCR-ELISA Telomerase Assay

Summary

Telomeres are specific DNA-protein structures at the ends of eukaryotic chromosomes, and telomeric DNA is a series of repetitive G-rich DNA sequences, which are highly conserved in biological evolution (the human repeat sequence is TTAGGG). Telomeres have been recognized to play an important role in protecting genomic DNA from degradation and preventing deleterious chromosome binding (e.g., chromosome end fusions, rearrangements, chromosome translocations, and chromosome deletions).
