Materials and Instruments

Move

1. Turn on the power of the instrument, the instrument starts to initialize and enter the main interface after everything is normal.

2. Select spectral measurement and press F1 to set parameters:

(1) Optical mode: A

(2) Scanning speed: fast

(3) Sampling interval: 1.0

(4) Wavelength range: 400?200nm

(5) Range of vertical coordinate: 0.000?1.000

3. Press "RETURN" to return to the spectral measurement interface, put in the blank sample, press "AUTO ZERO" for baseline correction. Then, put in the sample to be measured, press "START" to scan the spectrum. The resulting absorption curve is displayed on the screen of the host computer, press F2, enter the threshold value, press "Confirm", the system will automatically retrieve and display the peak value. According to the absorption curve, select the best measurement wavelength. Press F4 to print the spectrum.

4. In the main interface, select "Quantitative Determination", press F1 to set parameters:

(1) Labeling method

(2) Measuring wavelength: 287nm

(3) Concentration unit: mg/L

5. Press the F1 key to enter the parameter setting of the specimen method,

(1) Press "1", enter the number of specimen: 5

(2) Press "2", the sample number: enter the concentration of 1-5# samples in turn (3) Put a blank sample in the first pool, press "AUTO ZERO" key to carry out line blanking automatic zero calibration.

(4) Press "3", put the sample into No.1 cell, press "START" to measure the absorbance.

(5) Repeat the operation in (4) until 5 samples have been measured.

(6) Press "4" to plot the working curve.

6. Press "RETURN" to return to the quantitative measurement interface, put in the blank sample, and press "AUTO ZERO" to perform blank auto-calibration. Then, put in the sample to be measured, press "START" to measure the absorbance of the water sample. The interface automatically displays the measurement result.

7. Press "RETURN" key to return to the main interface, and turn off the power of the main unit directly.
