Descripción general

Multifunctional oxidase (MFO) is an important detoxification enzyme in organisms, enabling insects to adapt to changes in plants and to mitigate or avoid the toxicity of harmful secondary substances produced by plant-induced resistance. Principle of this kit: Multifunctional oxidase (MFO) catalyzes the conversion of p-nitroanisole to p-nitrophenol, which exhibits a characteristic absorption peak at 405 nm. The activity of MFO is determined by measuring the rate of increase in absorbance at this wavelength.
