This kit utilizes phosphatidate phosphatase (PPase) to catalyze the hydrolysis of β-glycerophosphate, releasing inorganic phosphorus. The activity of phosphatidate phosphatase (PPase) is determined by measuring the rate of increase in inorganic phosphorus using a phosphorus determination reagent.
