Overview
Rabbit anti Human CD46 Antibody, Recombinant, could be used for WB, IHC and so on. Application: WB: 1/500-1/2000 IHC: 1/50-1/200
IF/ICC: 1/300 Protein Function： Acts as a cofactor for complement factor I, a serine protease which protects autologous cells against complement-mediated injury by cleaving C3b and C4b deposited on host tissue. May be involved in the fusion of the spermatozoa with the oocyte during fertilization. Also acts as a costimulatory factor for T-cells which induces the differentiation of CD4+ into T-regulatory 1 cells. T-regulatory 1 cells suppress immune responses by secreting interleukin-10, and therefore are thought to prevent autoimmunity. A number of viral and bacterial pathogens seem to exploit this property and directly induce an immunosuppressive phenotype in T-cells by binding to CD46.

Recombinant CD46 Antibody (Ab094952) - IF/ICC IF analysis of Recombinant CD46 Antibody (Ab094952) in HeLa cells. The cells were fixed with 4% PFA for 10 minutes, and blocked with 5% BSA for 1 hour at room temperature. Cells were stained with Recombinant CD46 Antibody (Ab094952) at 1/300 dilution in blocking buffer overnight at 4°C, and then incubated with Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (AF647) (Ab181958) at a dilution of 1/1000 for 1 hour at room temperature in the dark (red). Cells were counterstained with DAPI (blue).
