Eliminates the need to waste precious samples on repeated gel electrophoresis for detecting different primary antibodies. Simply treat the membrane with this stripping buffer to remove the first primary antibody. This process typically takes 10–20 minutes, depending on the amount of antibody bound to the membrane. After stripping, the membrane can be reprobed with a new primary antibody.
Saves samples: The same membrane with identical samples can be used for multiple detections.
Time-efficient: No need to rerun gel electrophoresis.
Highly effective: Superior stripping performance compared to homemade buffers.
Gentle formulation: Minimal damage to target proteins on the membrane.
Odorless: No pungent odor, more environmentally friendly.
After completing Western Blot chemiluminescence detection, rinse the membrane with TBS/T or PBS/T for 5 minutes.
Add 10–20 mL of stripping buffer to cover the membrane. Incubate on a shaker for 10–20 minutes (duration depends on the amount of antibody bound).
Discard the stripping buffer and rinse the membrane with TBS/T or PBS/T for 5 minutes.
Optional: Apply chemiluminescence substrate to quickly verify stripping efficiency.
Reblock the membrane with an appropriate blocking buffer before reprobing with other antibodies.
The membrane can be stripped at least 10 times without significantly affecting signal intensity.
Example: GAPDH signals showed no significant reduction after 6 hours of continuous stripping (equivalent to 24 cycles at 15 min each).
