Overview
Tris-Acetate-EDTA Buffer (TAE) is a commonly used nucleic acid electrophoresis buffer. The composition of 1× TAE working solution is: 40 mM Tris-acetate, 1 mM EDTA (pH 8.0).
TAE Buffer (50×, RNase Free) is a 50-fold concentrated solution prepared with 0.1% DEPC-treated water. It primarily contains 2 M Tris-acetate, 50 mM EDTA, and other components. It is specifically designed for RNA electrophoresis. Before use, dilute 50-fold with DEPC-treated water to obtain a 1× working solution.
This reagent is for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures or other purposes.
Procedure (For Reference Only)
Dilute the product to a 1× working solution with DEPC-treated water before use.
Notes
If the single-use volume is small, it is recommended to aliquot the reagent before use.
Strictly avoid RNase contamination throughout the entire experimental procedure.
Please wear laboratory appropriate attire and disposable gloves during operation.
Use the reagent as soon as possible after opening and keep it sealed to avoid affecting experimental results.
