Overview

Product Introduction

Alkaline phosphatase can be used in ELISA assays, and its reaction product is a soluble colored substance, which is commonly used for quantitative determination with a spectrophotometer. Although paraffin embedding can inactivate most alkaline phosphatase, the residual enzyme can still interfere with the labeling effect.

Alkaline Phosphatase Blocking Solution (Levamisole Method) consists of levamisole, preservatives and other components, and can effectively block all alkaline phosphatase isoforms except the intestinal one. This reagent is for research use only and not intended for clinical diagnosis or any other applications.

Operating Procedures (For Reference Only)

1. Mount the sections on glass slides and rinse gently with PBS.

2. Blot or air-dry the slides, then incubate them in Alkaline Phosphatase Blocking Solution (Levamisole Method) for 10-20 minutes.

3. Proceed to blot or air-dry the slides directly without rinsing.

4. Incubate the slides with unlabeled primary antibody.

Precautions

1. For your safety and health, wear a lab coat and disposable gloves during operation.

2. Use the reagent as soon as possible after opening to avoid compromising the results of subsequent experiments.
