Doping and Doping Control

Summary

DopingControl refers to the pre-competition, post-competition and even ordinary times when sports organizations at all levels send special testing personnel to test athletes in order to determine whether they have used prohibited substances or prohibited methods. To date, urine testing is still the main method, while blood testing is only used as an auxiliary means to deal with those prohibited substances and prohibited methods that are difficult to detect in urine samples. For example, the blood tests implemented at the 1994 Winter Olympic Games in Lillehammer were mainly for allogeneic blood transfusions.
