Summary

There are two methods for oral administration of drugs to experimental animals: oral method generally mixes the drug into feed or dissolves it in water, which is freely ingested by the animal, but in order to ensure the accuracy of the dose of the drug, the gavage method should be used. The animals available are mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats, dogs and other animals.
