GRADE & PURITYBioactive?Bioactive grade — verified to retain biological activity in functional assays. Use when the molecule must be functionally active, not just pure.Recombinant?Recombinant — produced via recombinant expression for defined sequence and consistency. Use for reproducible, animal-free proteins of known origin.ActiBioPure™?ActiBioPure™ — Aladdin's premier line for bioactive and recombinant products. Use when both high purity and preserved biological activity are required.High Performance?High-performance grade with optimized purity and performance characteristics. Use for sensitive analyses where ordinary grades fall short.EnzymoPure™?EnzymoPure™ — Aladdin's line of high-quality enzymatic solutions. Use when enzyme purity and defined activity drive assay or process performance.Sterile?Sterile grade — processed and verified free of viable microorganisms. Overview
This macrolide enzyme is a high-purity hydrolytic inactivating enzyme for macrolide antibiotics, produced and purified via genetic engineering technology. It can inactivate the macrolide ring of macrolide antibiotics such as erythromycin and azithromycin, thereby abrogating their antimicrobial activity. This product is a highly purified and highly active preparation obtained through purification processes. It is characterized by strong specificity and can inactivate macrolide antibiotics including erythromycin, roxithromycin, and azithromycin.
Scope of Application
It can be used for the sterility test and microbial limit test of macrolide antibiotic raw materials and their preparations, namely the antibiotic sterility test specified in Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China (2020 Edition, Volume 4, Sterility Test) and the microbial limit test specified in the corresponding Microbial Limit Test appendix. It is also used as a reagent for the sterility test specified in USP-NF General Chapters 71 STERILITY TEST.
Usage Instructions
Sterility Test Method for Macrolide Antibiotics (with reference to Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China (2020 Edition, Volume 4, Sterility Test)): Membrane Filtration Method or Direct Inoculation Method.
