Overview
Non-specific binding to Leukocytes is a well-known challenge in flow cytometry. Though the specific mechanism of non-specific binding is not known, the binding of cyanine acceptor fluorophores to CD64 has been implicated in the literature. Mouse FcR Blocking Reagent blocks non-antigen-specific binding of immunoglobulins to the FcγIII and FcγII, and possibly FcγI, Receptors in vitro and in vivo. Furthemore, it effectively inhibits non-specific staining by various PE, PerCP, and APC tandem dyes on leukocytes. Mouse FcR Blocking Reagent blocks both clone P90A23 and 2.4G2 raised against mouse CD16/32.
